Welcome!

Congratulations on your new baby! I am truly honored to be considered as your photographer for this special time in your life. I am committed to making this a special day for you to remember, as well as to creating beautiful art for you to cherish and display. I shoot mostly Black and White, which is where my journey began, developing my Black and White film in the darkroom. For me, Black and White photography has a special place in my heart, and that’s how I’d like to envision my work as an art piece hanging on your wall.

Newborn sessions

Sessions are usually scheduled in the morning to accommodate your baby’s needs. Included are all fabrics used as outfits.

Fabrics are clean and washed between every client. It is recommended to come in 2-6 weeks after delivery, to capture that ‘Newborn look’. I will focus only on close up images with your baby and make sure to conceal anything you do not want to show, so it’s not necessary to ‘wait to get back in shape’.

The Mood

Scented candles, soft music, herbal tea and healthy snacks all contribute to the relaxed welcoming atmosphere here at W.O.M.B studio, that people love, and baby’s appreciate.

Family Members

You’re welcome to bring your partner, and/or children, mother/father, or other family member to the session for no additional fee.

Nursing

Since the sessions are a few hours long, it is often necessary to take nursing/feeding brakes. I will work to accommodate your baby’s schedule.

Viewing the Images

Once the pictures are ready, you will be invited for a ‘viewing session’, either at the studio, or at your home, where you will get a first look at the best images from your shoot. You will then be offered the option to select what you would like to purchase, either from the A-La-Carte menu or choose one of the beautiful elegant collection boxes or albums. Please make sure that anyone that is an important part of the ‘decision making process’ is present at the viewing session. All images are printed on top of the line archival art papers. You can order as much or as little as you like.

The Value of a Printed Photograph

What you’re going to do with your images is perhaps the most important aspect to consider when you’re planning for a photo session, but it’s all too often the aspect that is overlooked…all that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere. You’ll never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will seeing them on your wall or in a beautiful Art collection box. That’s why, I sell only physical print enlargements, and digital files are added free of charge to accompany each print.
